The JIS Z 4752-2-5 standard describes the performance of constancy tests to determine the quality of image display devices. The JIS standard applies to Japanese medical facilities and is similar to the DIN 6868-57 standard
To assist administrators in their efforts to make display systems comply with the JIS Z 4752-2-5 standard, Barco has developed a plug-in to be incorporated into its MediCal QA software. In this way, these additional tasks can be performed user-friendly and almost intervention-free, thereby drastically reducing system administrator's workload and the total life cycle cost of softcopy display systems.
