The BARCOVISION 1609s + IRIS3 is a high-performance, ultra high-resolutionVideo and HDTV compatible projector designed to provide superlative performance, not only by today's standards but by tomorrow's as well. Equipped with super high-resolution 9" CRTs and ultra precision optics, the BARCOVISION 1609s + IRIS3 renders large screen images with unprecedented visual fidelity.
With an eye towards the future, the BARCOVISION 1609s + IRIS3 breaks new ground with its bandwidth RGB amplifiers (60 MHz) and universal connection possibilities, making it compatible with virtually all existing VISION standards of today as well as those of tomorrow.
Its unrivalled performance and nearly limitless display compatibility make the BARCOVISION 1609s + IRIS3 ideal for sports and entertainment applications, video theaters, teleconferencing links, corporate presentations, broadcast studios, .... .
Broad Compatibility
The projector is designed to accommodate all worldwide video standards (PAL, SECAM, NTSC) as well as Super-Video signals (Y/C).
In addition, they are compatible with all currently proposed HDTV, extended or improved TV standards, such as Eureka 95 (1250/50), Hi-Vision (1125/60), ACTV, IDTV (line doubled video); in either 4:3 or the new 16:9 aspect ratio format.
High-end video projector with advanced optical system
The projector is provided with high brightness, high definition liquid cooled 9" electromagnetic focus CRTs with digitally controlled dynamic astigmatism, which offers consistently superb picture quality.
The electromagnetic focus system of the projector guarantees projected images that are razor sharp, even at maximum contrast levels.
Super high brightness, fully color corrected, liquid coupled F1.07 lenses provide outstanding image contrast. Several types of lenses are available, optimized for particular screen sizes.
