NioWatch is Barco's user-friendly software tool for use with Barco's Nio? display systems.
With NIOWATCH, users can either work with NIO?'s pre-defined DICOM-out-of-the-box settings or manually optimize their display system in accordance with DICOM part 14 in a few easy steps. Thanks to NIOWATCH, NIO? displays remain perceptually linearized, ensuring an accurate image representation at all times. The NIOWATCH tool comes as an easy-to-use systray application with a user-friendly interface.

Basic QA functionality
NioWatch software incorporates basic QA functionality. It allows users to run both luminance and functional checks on their Nio? display systems. If a Nio? display fails or approaches end of life, NioWatch will warn the QA Administrator. For more extended QA functionality, users can opt for Barco's advanced MediCal Pro softcopy QA solution.
Compatible with MediCal Administrator
In combination with MediCal Administrator, NioWatch offers an intelligent networking functionality for display fleet management purposes. In this scenario, NioWatch software can transfer all workstation, display and display controller information to the QA administrator for storage and follow-up.
